Heidi Watney, born May 19, 1981 was an American sportscaster. One of her achievements was being an National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003, she graduated with high honors. Watney was a contestant in Miss California USA in 2002 and was the first runner-up. Watney began her job at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. She started as the morning traffic reporter and then moved to the anchor for weekend sports and sports reporter for weekdays in 2005. The reporter moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was Boston Red Sox's reporter for games. Watney was also host of Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began her work at Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a journalist for LA Galaxy. She was then hired by MLB Network in November 2012 which she stayed with for nine years. [5] She is formerly host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022. 6.
