Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially through the shadows she observed on the grass of the trees She worked over a period of months to develop a technique which does not portray an object as a two-dimensional picture. The subject is a mirror of itself, and the canvas carries the painterly interpretation of the object, particularly when it is a living item or something perishable, like people or fruit. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral, but the photo is left. The painting and the photographic methods are tightly interwoven that the result is an unflat, 2-dimensional space which is able to achieve trompe l'oeil, wherein the third dimension can only be seen within certain places that are close to the eyes or in hair. Meade has integrated her model paintings into the space of 3D that surrounds them. Their interaction and this created world is conceivable. Thereby repealing the boundaries between painting, photography, performances and installations.
