Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer is best known for her performance in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was an attorney at the Madras High Court lawyer. Andrea is the youngest sibling of the researcher assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started in piano class at eight, is called a "geek" and was aspired to become a psychiatric patient until her board exam in 12th grade. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars in the age of 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. In her university, she was a theater artist and performed in various stage plays arranged by The Madras Players. Then she was the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's stage career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo advertising for coffee along with the actor Shiva in 2006. She was also in a show that was shown on Podhigai. The actress has appeared all over India. She played a minor role for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She performed a number of songs for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He wanted her to be one of his female leads on Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed with Andrea playing Kalyani a homemaker whose husband is involved in an affair and gets forced to confess. Andrea was selected for the role because actresses Simran Shubana, and Tabu were offered the role. It came out in early the year 2010. In the beginning of 2010, she was cast in a minor role for Venkat's Mankatha that was released in 2011. The film included a host of actors. She made her Malayalam film debut by playing The Annayum of Rajeeev Rahthi in Rasoolum in 2013.
