Dua Lipa the English musician and singer, was born in London, on the 22nd of August 1995. After having worked as a model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album. The album reached number third on the U.K. Albums Chart and recorded eight singles that included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and The U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number sixth in the United States. Lipa has been awarded an award called the Brit Award in the year 2018 for British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is certified platinum in many nations. Dua Lipa was was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on August 22, 1995. Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin through her maternal grandparents. The ancestors of her can be traced back to Peja which is a city located in Kosovo. Her grandparents were historians as well. Her siblings are Rina and Gjin. The father of Lipa, the guitar player and singer in the Kosovan group Oda was a major influence on her music. Her home was where her father would continue to play music. When she was nine, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa recorded If I Ain't You You from Alicia Keys and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera to be uploaded on YouTube. Lipa received an agreement to record by Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Her first single New Love was released in August of 2015.
